The event will feature art by Alex & Allyson Grey, David Heskin, Eric Nez, Aloria Weaver, Setevee Postman, Dan Cohen, and Ben Barta. There will be live guest speakers including Alex and Allyson Grey, amongs other great workshops, music, and live painting.

Entitled: ART SPIRIT NOW  : The New Renaissance

Here is their description and a link to their site: http://www.artspiritnow.org/

Throughout time, artist-philosophers have created pathways of wisdom to elucidate the subtle nature of life’s great mysteries.

Drawing upon ageless roots of inspired genius, art’s perpetual offering to illuminate a unifying life source is nourished.

Art Spirt is alive to propel artists whose life works exemplify great visions set forth by masters of our past and present.

Press Release as follows:

The Interdimensional Art Show has been born to answer a call to need of community development and individual appreciation. In a nut shell the Interdimensional Art Movement declares a collective with no boundaries to thoughts and expression, it is a foundation to welcome and nurture creativity within people. The acronym IAM is the symbol of individuality. It is fundamental to appreciate and celebrate the individuals the make up our communities.
The Annual Interdimensional Art Show which showcases art, music and fashion is an interactive platform to inspire culture. In the past 6 years the IAS took place in seattle for a yearly epic night to remember and maintain a strong following. from This Moment of stillness, comes healing

In this one I brought my oil painting of This Moment (in previous post above) ,into Painter, and my intention was to thin the veil enough and still resonate with the stillness and form of the original oil paining, without it looking to digitized.

New oil paintings

These two have been in the works on and off for some time. “This Moment” was started in 2006 and put aside until recently. “Form in Formless” was started while I was in school in 2007 and then also put aside until recently. At this stage I can see so many more potential layers, however there is something nice about leaving them they way they are, evoking others into using their own imagination.

Zeitgeist Addendum

•November 18, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Zeitgeist Addendum is one of the most profound and inspiring films I have ever seen. Out of the two Zeitgeist films, I find Addendum to be more positive by offering possible social and environmental solutions, as well as on a spiritual level.

A massive movement has spawned from the Zeitgiest films called, The Zeitgiest Movement. Along with The Venus Project, thier aims are to help inspire people to re-create an evolved and harmonious humanity living symbiotically with the earth and it’s shared inhabitants in a resource based economy, rather than the slavery of a monetary based economy.

My art at 101 in Sechelt

•November 18, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Here is the write up by Jan Degrass in the Coast Reporter ( a local news paper on the Sunshine Coast ) about my current exhibit.

“The artist on show at 1-0-1 Office Supply on Cowerie St. in Sechelt this month is Simon Haiduk, who has provided representational works as well as abstract. His landscapes are luminous, textured treatments of the rain coast while the abstracts are visionary pieces evocative of yantras and artifacts of Eastern spiritual practices – recursive, symetric and highly detailed. The work features original oils and acrylics as well as canvas-printed reproductions, some with one -of-a-kind custom framing”

Bridging Worlds closing party – sort of

•October 26, 2008 • Leave a Comment

Since this is marking the end of our show at The Fall, I’m deeming it our ‘closing party’. And a good one it will be with some delicous down tempo by Bluetech and some other sonic waves by Pitch Black and Byron Dreamweaver.

I’ll also be having a silent auction of some of my large canvas prints, vinyl prints, and even some originals!
